Jake Takes a Break!
Our most recent visitor was Jake Vogt, he arrived on Sunday and stayed until Thursday. Fun filled week, with the movies, Pizza night, poker playing and one day he and Grandpa took a ride up to Kirkwood to beat the heat. Jake was especially good about taking Gladys for her walks. Loved having all the kids up to visit this Summer, only missed our lovely Emily who is babysitting every day. |

Nick Bauer was the first of the Summer vacationer to visit Grandma & Grandpa's house.

| Our Second Summer Vacation Visitor
Andrew Norman Vogt, second in the Summer Series of Visitors arrived on Sunday. His plan was to stay 10 weeks. We did it all, Pizza games, movies with Grandpa, donuts, spelling bee's and showing off his reading progress. Alas, 10 weeks turned into a Tuesday night "crash & burn" and a quick trip to meet his dad. We had a great time while it lasted. |

Summer Vacations continued.....
This time there were two visitors, Josh Vogt & Taylor Bauer. Great combination, they got along so well. Josh was happy to see her arrive as he got here first and Grandpa had him moving, weed whacking, etc. The big thing with the kids is grandpa is teaching them all to play poker. I took Tay & Josh shopping for their new bedroom decor, and we went to see the latest Pirates movie, which I think I liked more than the kids did!
