Here's a little bit (very little!) of Pine Grove humor! A couple days before Christmas I stopped at our local Ace Hardware to pick up a snow shovel. It was 30 degrees, snowing and cold. I came out of the store carrying my snow shovel and a guy getting out of his truck says “You don't look to happy about that snow shovel!” I gave him a true “Mevvie” look and said “It's only surpassed by the new rake my husband bought me this Fall”. I continued on to the car when I heard him holler “What more could a woman ask for???? ha ha ha…..!” He's very fortunate to have slipped into the store before I could get to him with my shovel.
Christmas eve found a crowd at our house to celebrate the season. Tim, Eniko, her parents, Julia, Josh, Jake and Joan, Nick and Taylor rounded out the crowd. Church at 4:30, then goodies, and dinner followed.
New Year's Eve will be following with Emma & Andrew, Josh & Jake, steak fry comin' up!
