The weather was a nippy 30ish degrees and the wind was blowing, so Pat & I decided the very best place to see the parade was sitting inside at the bar and looking out. I ran out to take photos of some of the more colorful participants as they marched by. Inside the bar it was warm and toasty and the three gentlemen all decked out to celebrate their Irish agreed to let me take their photo. I asked if they could move a bit closer so I could get them all in and one of the guys said "well, do you want me to sit on his lap?" I came right back at them and said "I'm from San Francisco, if you want to sit on his lap, that's all right with me!" The entire bar was in stitches laughing. |
