How we got there

How does anything start with an idea, ours was to help us start building towards our retirement. So we thought having a place to retire to might seem like a good start or at the very least maybe we could buy something and then later sell it. With a bit of convincing I got my wife to consider buying something back in Colorado where see is originally from. After countless searches on the web and some time driving around looking at several potential areas that might work there were very few options that would work for a number of reason.

So I was unsure what my next step was going to be until one trip up to see my folks. We where sitting around talking and during the conversation my wife says to me this would not be a bad area to look at in regards to buying some land. At this moment I thought to myself "boy this would have been nice to know about a year ago" as this current endeavor had taken about two years. Anyway's, I was excited at the possibility that something might happen. With that, on another visit to my folks up in Pine Grove we discussed it with them. I asked if they could find out who might be a good person in real estate that could help. Well leave it to my mother, she gave us a few names but said she had heard that Barbara Sennit would be the best.
