The Vogt reunion began with Mass at St. Lawrence Seminary - alumni Norm Vogt!!! A Brat Fry followed at Mike and Mary Tighe's house including a video created by Tim and Mary Vogt ( from Mary's class reunion the previous evening)! We headed out to Elkhart Lake to the Osthoff Resort. The accomodations were great, and Chrissy made it very special with her expertise in cooking. We enjoyed good food, good conversation and cherished the memory boxes that Carol and Mary put together...they included a booklet filled with past memories and other memorbillia from the past. Lots of time to visit which also included a van tour of the grandparents and friends homesteads from our childhood!! We enjoyed the evening with dinner at Black Wolf Run Golf Club and ended the evening with singing provided by Leo. Tuesday we visited with Alic Meyer, and old friend of Grandpa and Grandma Vogt. She was thrilled and we made her day....Merle and Shari hosted a wonderful dinner cruise down the Milwaukee River It was a pleasant ending to a memorable weekend. Farewells were in order with the promise of a California reunion in 2 years.... Thanks to all who traveled and helped make this a success!!!
