Proud parents John & Ann Seibel took these pictures at the Midwest Oireachtas (or-rock-tus)
Irish dance competition that the daughter Caitlin participated in over Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago.
She performed in both the Traditional dance (individual) and Ceili dance (group).
She finished 19th (out of 94) in the Traditional dance and their Ceili group finished 13th (out of 35)
- both very good finishes from what others have told me. This was a regional competition
with a lot more dancers than what we normally see in a local feish.
They placed and medalled in both competitions.
The picture with three dancers is of Caitlin with two of her Ceili team members
- Loren on the left, Riley on the right.
It was a lot fun, but it's really nice being back home where we can relax!! |
