We attended the parade in Mokeulumne Hill this year and loved it. It was truly "small town America" at its' best. They even had a bratwurst stand complete with sauerkraut, cold beer, an old west re-enactment, and 90 degree summertime temperatures.
Our friends Peggy & Gary Chambers from West Point participated in the Lawn Chair Brigade (similar to a Military Drill Team only using lawn chairs) to the tune of the Beach Boys Surfin' USA and Born in the USA, followed by the Dancing Cows, lots of horses and the fire department.
Great fun!
