Shari & Merle came out last Thursday for a long weekend visit and in their honor we arranged to have 90 degree weather. The guys, Norm, Merle & Leo played golf on Friday and said it was HOT. 90 degree weather for this time of year was put into the extraordinary category, as this week there was snow up higher in the mountains.
Kathy & Leo were able to make it over and while the guys played golf Kathy & Shari went and spent two hours in the Kitchen Store down in Jackson. Norm & Merle spent the morning on Saturday catching up on the past year since we’ve all been together. Anthony & Floy brought her mother, Ramona up to lunch, shop and spend some time with us. Everyone enjoyed getting to know her. Shari and I hit the trail early Saturday morning.
We did the grand tour of our little gold rush cemetery, stopped at the Indian Grinding Rock Park where Big Time celebration was setting up, walked the little town of Volcano and hit Sutter Creek Boutique (they would welcome Shari back ANY time).
We packed as much fun and chats into our time together, then they left for Leo & Kathy’s house to finish out their stay.
