Making an attempt to earn those frequent flyer points, my mother Ramona, flew out from Colorado for a visit. We all shared a great week with her that included site seeing trips, deck time conversations and some great meals.
Our first trip was up to the Pine Grove area with a stop at Tony's and my property to show her the rock retaining wall being constructed. From there, we headed over to Norm's and Mevvie's for a visit with them, which turned out to be one of my mom's highlights here with us. Merle and Shari were here from Wisconsin for a visit with us "West Coast" people and Leo and Kathy were up to join in the festivities. My mother had a great visit and conversation with all, and finished up the night with a fabulous dinner put together by Mevvie and Norm.
Another trip included a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, followed by a late lunch on the dock with some of that great clam chowder and fresh seafood. Before flying home, she got to get some shopping time in with her daughter, me ;-); a visit with long time friends that live near by (Walnut Creek); and making one of Tony's and my favorite dish 'Chicken and Noodles'... trust us, it is the GREATEST!
Her visit here went by much to fast, but we really enjoyed the time we did have and could not have asked for better weather for her visit.
