What a fun weekend it was in Fond du Lac, did you hear us laughing from California??, We laughed until we just couldn’t laugh any more. When I wrote my book, The Leaf House, I had hoped that it would evoke memories from every reader. We took turns reading snippets and there were so many giggles and “Oh, I remember THAT!” stories that went along with the reading that it was deemed to be a great success.
The second get-together was at a high school chum’s home in Fond du Lac. She made a fabulous breakfast for 7 of us and her husband was a great sport in serving us all. The gals all brought pictures of their families to pass around. While breakfast doesn’t usually last from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. it was hard to bring the party to a close.
"Adding to the festivities", Mary Grace got Carol, Shari and I together at her house for a quick chat then off to dinner. Fun night catching up with all my sisters-in-law. I ended up my trip with a quick but fun visit with Merle at the airport in Milwaukee."
