This past Tuesday was the official celebration of Andrew’s great accomplishment this past
year in sixth grade…..he made the honor roll every semester for the entire year!
In honor of that, grandpa declared a day of celebration.
It began with a trip to Sacramento to see the latest “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” movie in Imax 3D.
After the movie, a stop at Coldstone for ice cream and then on to the surprise.
Just a short way away is a great entertainment spot for kids called Monster Golf.
It’s dark inside with fluorescent colored lighting with monsters, roaring animals, and wild
music for miniature golf. Grandpa’s score beat both of us, but then again he plays real golf
every week so we had to discount his winning.
Back home after golf for Andrew’s favorite “hot dogs” meal. Great day, we had as much
(if not more) fun than Andy!
